This mountain is located quite close to La Paz city, walking its trails is undoubtedly a purifying and renewing experience.
Departing by private transport from La Paz city, we will arrive at the foot of Huayna Potosi. Then, we will begin a pleasant and quiet hike until we reach the “Argentinean camp”, where we will have a box lunch and begin the descent back to the transport.

Weather: Cold, temperatures range between 10° and -10°. It is preferable to make this trek in the dry season, between April and October. Otherwise, the rains are very inconvenient.
Altitude: 6088 meters above sea level.
Location: La Paz.
Travel time: 1 hour from La Paz.
Difficulty: Easy. Accessible to all.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, cap or sunglasses, trekking shoes, warm clothes (jacket, gloves, scarf and hat).
